Job Description
The Tower Plaza Hotel is hiring a talented Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) - Pastry to assist the Chef de Partie in running the Pastry section. This role involves specialized creation of desserts, bakery items, and high-quality pastry products for all hotel outlets.
Requirements
Prepare and produce a wide range of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to hotel standards and recipes.
Assist the Chef de Partie in monitoring inventory, quality control, and minimizing waste in the Pastry section.
Ensure the Pastry station is clean, organized, and compliant with all hygiene regulations.
Support Commis Chefs and guide their technical development.
Requirements:
Previous experience (3+ years) as a DCDP or Commis 1 in a professional hotel or high-end pastry kitchen.
Specialized training or qualification in Pastry Arts.
Proven technical skill in baking, decorating, and dessert presentation.
Assist the Chef de Partie in monitoring inventory, quality control, and minimizing waste in the Pastry section.
