Job Description
The IT Officer is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of the hotel's computer systems, network, and technological infrastructure, ensuring seamless service delivery for both guests and staff.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain the hotel’s computer hardware, operating systems, and applications (including Property Management Systems - PMS).
Network Management: Monitor and maintain the local area network (LAN), Wi-Fi services, and ensure secure and stable internet connectivity.
Technical Support: Provide prompt and effective technical support (help desk) to all hotel departments and staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Security & Backup: Implement and manage security protocols, including firewalls and anti-virus software, and oversee data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external IT service providers and vendors for specialized support or equipment purchasing.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in IT support, ideally within the hospitality or service industry.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of network infrastructure, operating systems (Windows Server/Client), and common hospitality software.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a strong service-oriented attitude.
