Senior Operator - Enterprise Command & Control Center Operations

JOB PURPOSE
The role aims to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the road and Transportation network in the Emirate of Dubai by managing the systems linked to the operational control centers within the RTA. It also involves implementing all operational procedures taken by these centers in accordance with relevant approved policies and procedures.

KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES


Preparing daily operational reports.


Respond to all notifications received for unplanned Events as well as notifications received from Dubai Police and others.



Handle

notifications while documenting, proceedings and closing them according to the approved work procedures.


Work in shifts covering 24/7 operations, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.


Operating the Mobile Command Vehicle (MCV) during emergencies, crises, and major events as assigned.


Execute additional duties as assigned by the direct line manager or the Department Director

.



Monitoring the daily incident management operations on the Roads and Transport network, and planned

events as well as oversee crowd management operations at stations through CCTV.

Document the actions taken by the RTA OCCs to address these incidents and register a new incident log for

each event.


Handling calls related to emergencies and crises in accordance with the integrated communication protocol for

operational control centers within the authority.

Education

Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent from an accredited university.

Diploma: 5 years

Bachelor’s: 0-2 Practical experience in the field of operational control centers in the road and transportation network or a similar work environment is preferred
